This Veterans Day, the Transportation Management Association of Chester County (TMACC), together with its 501(c)3 sister organization FIT, is honored to launch the Annual Veterans Holiday Gift Drive. From November 11 through December 13, TMACC will collect new household essentials, including small kitchen appliances, bedding, and cleaning supplies, to help furnish homes for veterans transitioning from houselessness to residential living. This drive provides our community a chance to express genuine gratitude and support for veterans who have served our country.
“Our veterans have shown immense courage and dedication, often facing difficult challenges in their return to civilian life,” shared Tim Phelps, TMACC’s Executive Director. “Many are emerging from houselessness, and a furnished, welcoming home can offer the security and dignity they deserve. This initiative is about more than just items—it’s about hope and a new beginning.”
TMACC is calling on businesses, organizations, and individuals to join in making a meaningful impact. Corporations and local firms are encouraged to organize in-house donation drives, giving employees a tangible way to contribute. TMACC has made the process straightforward, providing donation boxes at participating offices and accepting direct drop-offs at its headquarters. Contributions can also be made financially, ensuring that veterans receive exactly what they need to make their new spaces feel like home.
Each contribution, whether large or small, directly impacts the lives of veterans rebuilding their lives. By partnering with the dedicated staff at the Coatesville VA, TMACC ensures that these donations reach veterans in need, helping them create a safe and comfortable space they can call their own.
