Building Better Bus Stops - Web Based Lunch & Learn

Join us Wednesday March 9th 2022 (11:55am-12:45pm) for our First Zoom Lunch and Learn of the year. 
 
Bus stops provide vital connections between public transportation and communities they serve. To support planning and design of bus stops, PennDOT and the Pennsylvania Public Transportation Association (PPTA) developed the Building Better Bus Stops Resource Guide. This Resource Guide uniquely highlights how proactive planning and successful partnerships can strengthen transit as a viable transportation option, particularly in rural and suburban communities.  Natasha Manbeck with McMahon Associates, Inc. will provide an overview of the guide, highlighting ways to incorporate transit in local plans/polices and build strategic partnerships to implement better bus stops.
